JOANNA MCCLURE

Joanna McClure is a New York-based photographer who has worked with clients like Nylon Magazine and Vanity and Fair (UK). Her romanticized vision for vivid and vibrant imagery allows her work to move sensibly between portraiture, still life and fashion effortlessly.

McClure’s eloquence is best expressed through her persuasion in colour. Her photographs avail an emotive pallet of primary pastels through light and dark exposures which occasionally incorporates the blurring from movement.

Her work shed lights on a kind of tableaux, capturing calming and cohesive images of people and places. McClure’s body of work appears stylized yet truthful and organic, resembling a Marc Jacobs fragrance campaign (at times) but better.
